Dual study is very much in vogue. At Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG), there are also many opportunities for you to study with a practical partner via the KIA program. There are two models for this at the HSZG:
KIA is a dual degree program with two qualifications: Skilled worker (with chamber examination IHK or HWK) and university degree (Bachelor or Diploma). After two and a half years of shortened training, you will obtain a skilled worker's qualification by passing the IHK or HWK examination and after a further two years (Bachelor's degree) or two and a half years (Diplom degree) you will have a university degree in your pocket.

KIA direkt is a practice-integrated degree program. During your lecture-free time, in the practical semester and during your bachelor's or diploma thesis, you will gain valuable knowledge in your training company.
