Our tasks are described in SGB IX § 95. The representative body for severely disabled employees
- promotes the recruitment of people with disabilities (see also SGB IX § 81 (1) sentence 6)
- provides advice and assistance to people with disabilities
- monitors compliance with the law (especially with regard to § 71, § 72, § 81 - § 84)
- applies for preventive measures (see also SGB IX § 84)
- helps to clarify problems with the employer
- prevents dismissals of people with disabilities (see also SGB IX § 85-§ 92)
- provides support in organizing the workplace (see also SGB IX § 81 (4) sentences 4 and 5).
