Tips for implementing online evaluation for teachers

For each course to be evaluated, the teacher receives an email with the access data in the form of a web link and token for the course-specific online questionnaire. A QR code sheet is also attached to the email. The teacher can make the access data available to the students concerned in the following alternative ways:

  1. Provision of the access data for the online questionnaire within the course (access data or QR code is displayed on the wall/screen via beamer and students are asked to participate immediately)
  2. Sending an invitation email to students to take part in the survey (the email must contain at least the access data or QR code sheet and the deadline for participation)
  3. Posting the access data or the QR code sheet in the OPAL course of the relevant course (including brief information on availability and participation deadline to the students)

Other information variants are also possible. Please note:

  • Participation must be limited in time. As a lecturer, please give your students a fixed end date. As a rule, one week is sufficient.
  • The questionnaire contains an optional additional question. Suggestions for additional questions can be found in the e-mail with the access data. If you as a teacher wish to make use of this option, please also inform the students of the additional question you have formulated.
