Persons who have acquired knowledge and skills corresponding to the study and examination regulations during their professional practice, as part of further education or through self-taught studies can acquire a professionally qualifying university degree in an external examination procedure. Exception: Does not currently apply to the Curative Education/Inclusion Studies degree program.
External students are not enrolled (are not students) and are not members of the university.
Abitur, Fachhochschulreife or other university entrance qualification in accordance with the enrolment regulations, if applying for the Master's degree additionally first professionally qualifying university degree in accordance with the study and examination regulations
Formal application with the required attachments by 01.03. (if starting in the summer semester) or 01.09. (if starting in the winter semester)
For module examinations including possible retakes: 15 months, in justified cases a one-off extension of the deadline by 3 months upon request.
The period for the final thesis is one year.
The fees depend on the number and type of examinations to be taken (€ 200.00 to € 1,000.00).
