Take the opportunity to network with others. Celebrate Teaching Day with us and let's develop the potential of teaching together!
"Dear students, dear employees, dear professors,
I would like to cordially invite you to Teaching Day on May 10, 2023. The motto is: "Campus 4 You - Shaping innovative teaching and learning spaces together".
We would like to discuss the design of our campuses in Zittau and Görlitz with you. Innovative teaching and learning methods require new learning spaces that complement traditional lecture halls with digital technology and new spatial concepts. The strategic project Zukunftslernort Oberlausitz (ZukLOS) of the University for Future initiative of the university management is also addressing this topic and investigating how room design can support new forms of teaching and learning by incorporating didactic considerations into the planning. A positive learning environment with a supportive learning infrastructure can have a decisive influence on the teaching and learning process by combining space, technology and didactics in a meaningful way.
In addition to inspiring lectures that provide an outside perspective, there will be exciting presentations by the student representatives of our university and, from May 5 to 15, 2023, an exhibition in the foyer of House Z IV with innovative teaching and learning settings to try out.
I would be delighted to welcome you to this event."
