In the large-scale LaNDER³ project, the HSZG is working with non-university research institutions to develop concepts together with regional and international companies that reach far beyond the region.
The aim is to economically break down natural fibers from regionally available biomass by recycling waste materials and process them into high-tech composite materials.
This results in lightweight, resilient materials that are shaped in an energy-efficient manner, coated in a functional way and recycled after use.
