Our researchers present their achievements in specialist journals and mass media as well as at exhibitions and trade fairs. In doing so, they provide the public with a transparent insight into research at the HSCG. To support this, the university has adopted an Open Access strategy , which is available to HSCG members in the HIP.
The HSCG has created a website on Open Access which, in addition to general information, also contains the funding opportunities available from the HSCG until 2024. Find out more at the following link!
Teaching and research are known to be the core missions of the HSCG. However, universities today are making an increasingly important contribution to social life. The HSCG has been fulfilling this so-called "third mission" for many years through a wide range of activities.
The three academic missions are closely interlinked. Teaching, for example, benefits from the results of research, as these guarantee that the course content is up to date. Research, in turn, benefits from well-trained academic staff who have enjoyed sound teaching.
For us, cooperation means not only working on specific research projects, but also supporting practical and final theses, arranging student traineeships and organizing guest lectures by representatives from politics, society and business.
We look back on a long history of successful cooperation with companies, economic alliances, municipalities, registered associations and research institutions.
