Campus with child

At both the Görlitz and Zittau campuses, a wide range of services make family life on campus easier. Both canteens are located in the immediate vicinity of the various buildings, but there are also attractive and affordable apartments and halls of residence available. In addition to advice via the website, Studentenwerk Dresden also offers personal consultations at both campuses in Zittau and Görlitz.

Existing offers
  • At the campus in Görlitz, changing tables are available in the spacious disabled toilets on the first floor of the "Blue Box" (building GI) and in the canteen.
  • At the Zittau campus, a changing table is available in the spacious disabled toilet in the canteen.
  • Both in Zittau and in Görlitz, high chairs are available in the canteen at all times for eating with children. Any baby food you bring with you will be heated by the canteen staff. For children of pre-school age, there is a children's portion at a price of 1.00 Euro (children's plate) in combination with an adult meal.
Offers in planning
  • Acquisition of mobile "Kidskoffer" for Görlitz and Zittau
  • Establishment of central or decentralized breastfeeding and nappy-changing rooms
  • Discussions with Studierendenwerk Dresden to expand additional services (e.g. canteen)
