2. All foreign educational credentials:

• university entrance qualifications (e.g., Baccalaureat, Maturität, Lise diplomasi, Attestat, etc.)
• if available, transcripts of records for completed periods of study
• if available, diplomas for degrees already earned
• if available, university entrance examination
• as well as an officially certified translation of these degree certificates into German

3. APS degree certificate (applies to all countries where an examination process is a prerequisite for issuing a student visa)

4. Proof of German language proficiency

I. For Direct Admission

II. For DSH courses or a specialized course in preparation for the placement exam at the Zittau 'Studienkolleg' (preparatory college)

For the winter semester: March 1 – April 30
For the summer semester: September 1 – October 31

The complete application documents for admission to the 'Studienkolleg' (preparatory college) must be received by the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences by May 15 (for Polish applicants, by the 29th calendar week) of the year, and for the summer semester, by November 15 of the previous year at the Zittau/Görlitz university.

Tuition fees are onlycharged at the 'Studienkolleg'. Depending on the course, they range from €800.00 per semester (DSH course) to €2,100.00 per semester (preparation for the placement exam). For more information, visit https://studienkolleg.hszg.de/leben-lernen.
During your degree program, you’ll only be required to pay the applicable semester fee. Living expenses range from €500.00 to €600.00 per month (rent, health insurance, groceries, etc.).

Visa

International students need a visa and proof of sufficient financial resources. The visa process can take several months, so we recommend applying for the visa well in advance. You can usually schedule an appointment to apply for a visa before you receive your letter of admission. However, remember to bring your letter of admission with you to the appointment. Semester Dates

The winter semester begins on September 1 and ends on February 28 of the following year. The summer semester begins on March 1 and ends on August 31 of the same year.
