Zittau and Görlitz - both cities are located in the extreme south-east of Germany in the federal state of Saxony. They are only about 35 km apart and, together with the neighboring countries of Poland and the Czech Republic, belong to the "Euroregion Neisse". With only around 26,000 and 56,000 inhabitants respectively, both cities offer a cozy and pleasant atmosphere that is just right for studying.
You will find very good study conditions at both university locations. You benefit from modern, well-equipped teaching buildings and laboratories as well as completely renovated halls of residence and new canteens with modern libraries.

In order to study at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences as an exchange student, you must first be officially nominated by your coordinator. Nominations must be made by e-mail and must include

Step 2 - Application
Once you have been successfully nominated by your home university, Ms. Kunze will send you the link to the study guide and the online application form.
Only after you have read the study guide carefully, please complete all mandatory fields marked with * in the online application and submit it.
After you have submitted your application, you will receive an e-mail asking you to register in the mobility portal. This takes place in two steps:
