Scientific lectures, discussion rounds, seminars and excursions are the focus of the SeniorenKolleg, which is aimed at interested older citizens from Zittau, Görlitz and the surrounding area.
The Seniorenkolleg is held with separate programs in Zittau and Görlitz. During the lecture period, a college event takes place at least once a month at a university location. The college usually begins on Wednesdays at 4:15 pm.
The senior citizens' college at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences cooperates with the Görlitz district senior citizens' council. Support is provided by the Förderverein der Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz e. V. and the university's Studium fundamentale.
