Lusatia is facing considerable economic upheaval as a result of the phase-out of lignite-based electricity generation. Ideas and concepts are needed to strengthen economic power and shape the social transformation process. Federal funding programs and state programs have been set up to implement the projects.
The HSZG is involved in various projects as a consortium leader or cooperation partner. The Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer, Prof. Raj Kollmorgen, is the university's central point of contact.
