Research compass

The Research Compass can be accessed via the internal university information system (HIP) (login required) and is primarily aimed at newly appointed professors and academics at the beginning of their academic career as well as employees whose tasks include advising and supervising research and externally funded projects.

The Research Compass

  • provides information about the most important central support structures and responsibilities at the HSCG that are available for research and development projects,
  • provides an initial overview of the diverse research funding landscape,
  • structures the administration of the research process - from the development of a project idea to the completion of a third-party funded research or development project,
  • provides an overview of internal research funding opportunities .
