At the KIA Company Exchange on Open University Day on March 25, those interested in dual studies can find their practice partner.

How does it work? A total of 16 HSZG partner companies from the mechanical engineering, energy and technology sectors will be presenting themselves between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the company exchange for dual studies as part of the Open University Day on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
They will not only present their own company, but also explain how you as a KIA student are integrated into everyday life at the company, how your practical phases are structured and what remuneration you can expect.
"For example,ATN Hölzel GmbH, a long-standing practice partner with a lot of experience in the field of KIA studies, will be there to answer questions," says Kristin Groß, KIA coordinator at HSZG. But there will also be new partners on site who are looking forward to having a student in their own company for the first time. Being a KIA practice partner offers many advantages, as Kristin Groß knows: "Companies can tailor their own young specialists and retain them at an early stage. At the same time, they benefit from the cutting-edge knowledge that KIA students bring with them from the lecture hall. And you can save yourself the training period after graduation."
Kristin Groß will be on hand at her own stand to answer questions about the general course of KIA studies and provide valuable tips and advice. The companies on site are also ideal contacts for graduates or when it comes to finding a suitable partner for the upcoming internship semester or the bachelor's or diploma thesis.
