Dual students get off to a flying start at the HSZG.
Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences kicked off the 2023 winter semester with a spectacular start that filled the dual study students with enthusiasm. On September 11, just in time for the start of the preliminary courses, the "KIA Shuttle Start " took place as part of the Come In Weeks, a welcome event that sweetened the students' entry into their dual study journey.
The event began with a warm welcome where the students received their legendary KIA shirts from the organizers. This was a symbolic moment that marked the start of their academic careers at the HSZG.
After an inspiring welcome speech by Rector Prof. Dr. Alexander Kratzsch and KIA representative Kristin Groß, the excited group made their way to the university's high-voltage hall. There they were greeted by Rüdiger Cervinka and his colleague Mario Dreßler, who offered a foretaste of the upcoming course with exciting and spectacular experiments.
The students left the event not only with a broadened horizon, but also with a strengthened sense of community and anticipation of the upcoming challenges and opportunities that the dual study program at HSZG will bring.
The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences would like to thank everyone involved and all those who helped to make the KIA Shuttle Start an unforgettable experience. We wish the dual students a successful start to their studies and look forward to a productive and exciting academic journey.
