The next GENERATIONENDIALOG will be held on the university campus in Görlitz from June 22 to 24, 2023.

In cooperation with the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, the State Commissioner for Senior Citizens invites you to actively participate in the three-day event format and discuss the question "How do we want to live?". The GENERATIONENDIALOG focuses on changing perspectives and is aimed at people of all ages and situations in life, at all citizens: schoolchildren, students, professionals, companies, associations, stakeholders and committed individuals, grandchildren, children, parents and grandparents.

In a variety of workshops on the topics of PARTICIPATION, FUTURE VISIONS and FEARS, DIALOGUE BETWEEN GENERATIONS and the LAUSITZ FOUNDING SCENE, participants can help shape the impetus for the future of the region and develop ideas together. Guests from Saxony and Brandenburg are expected.

The German Children and Youth Foundation, the children and youth commissioners of both states and the state senior citizens' commissioner for Brandenburg will also be taking part. Discussions can also be held with political representatives and experts in the field. Above all, however, there will be space to network.

It is possible to participate on all days or to take part in individual program items.

We invite you to a variety of workshops on the topics of PARTICIPATION, FUTURE VISIONS and FEARS, DIALOGUE BETWEEN GENERATIONS and the LAUSITZ FOUNDING ZONE. Discover new sides to your region and change your perspective!

Enjoy the cultural program, find inspiration and network, e.g. at the BBQ evening.
