The Young Academics Conference offers young scientists a platform to present their scientific work in the field of energy use of natural solid biomass in the application area between individual room supply and municipal supply - technology, economy, ecology.
The conference was originally planned as the opening event of the 25th FACHTAGUNG "Nutzung nachwachsender Rohstoffe - Biomass to Power and Heat". As this unfortunately cannot take place this year due to the corona restrictions, we have decided to hold the Young Academics Conference as a free ONLINE event.
Seven young scientists will present their work on economic, natural, environmental and social science, construction and operational aspects. The papers can also deal with parts or the entirety of the process chain from cultivation, harvesting, storage and processing of biomass to the conversion process for the provision of useful energy and the problem of residues, as well as related electrical and control engineering and micro- and macroeconomic issues.
The Young Academics Conference gives young people who are continuing their scientific work after completing their Master's degree or diploma and who are perhaps preparing for a doctorate or their work in practice the opportunity to present and discuss their experiences, findings and scientific work together. The interdisciplinary and international aspect is exciting. The result is a publication. In addition, the three best presentations will be awarded prizes by a jury.
Please register by e-mail by 16.06.2020, 2 p.m. to biomass(at)hszg.de.
