To be able to live independently into old age without being alone. To be able to withdraw when you feel like it, but always have company when you feel like socializing. Too good to be true? Not at all. Freya Brandl got to know many community projects abroad and met nice people who do a lot together, support each other and share rooms, equipment and vehicles. This inspired her, which is why she is also committed to the development of communal living projects in Vienna, especially for older people. To this end, she founded the association "Kolokation - gemeinsam urban wohnen" together with Peter Bleier. She has lived in "Kolokation- Sonnwendviertel" in Vienna's 10th district of Favoriten since 2019.
