Risk assessment is the foundation of occupational health and safety. Measures for risk assessment must be derived from the identified risk factors, covering all areas of occupational health and safety, from occupational medical precautions, inspection obligations and operating instructions to technical and organizational changes. The consideration of trade association and legal regulations is just as important as the evaluation of the individual performance requirements of employees. There are currently new challenges, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. These must also be taken into account when carrying out the risk assessment.
The seminar will use practical examples to illustrate and teach how to carry out a risk assessment, including the implementation of the resulting need for action. Special features due to the COVID-19 situation will be addressed.
