We would like to invite you to a lunchtime snack as part of the information event of the strategic project "Zukunftslernort Oberlausitz" (ZukLOS) of the University for Future initiative of the university management. The event will take place on June 21, 2023, 11:30 - 14:00 in room 3.02 of House I on the campus in Görlitz . At the beginning, Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Sophia Keil will present the four fields of action and the project status. Afterwards, we invite you to explore and get to know initial ideas for the future use of the makerspace premises on the Görlitz campus.
At the beginning of the event, Prof'in Dr'in rer. pol. Sophia Keil, Vice-Rector for Education and International Affairs, will inform you about the goals, fields of action and the current status of the project. Afterwards, we would like to have a personal exchange with you and answer your questions about the project. We would also like to invite you to visit the future experimental workshop on the university campus in Görlitz, where you will be presented with initial ideas for educational programs that could be offered in rooms 0.26 and 3.15 in the future.
The event is aimed at students, employees and professors of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and all interested parties.

The aim of the "Future Learning Location Upper Lusatia" project is to create diverse and innovative teaching-learning spaces and meeting places for people of all generations as well as learning locations in the extracurricular area and to equip these with future-oriented offers focused on regional development. With action-oriented and intergenerational offers, especially for children, young people and students in Upper Lusatia, the university aims to significantly increase the attractiveness of the region for families and young people.
