State parliament mid-term project conference

News from the world of research - presentation of current projects.

Selected projects at our university that are being funded by the Free State of Saxony in the period from 2018 to 2022 on the basis of a decision by the Saxon state parliament will be presented. This conference, which takes place on a regular basis, promotes exchange within the university and awareness of our research in the region.

Lecture topics:

  • Climate neutrality of industrial companies in Eastern Saxony
  • Determination of the thermophysical material data of phase change materials (PCM) for latent heat storage
  • Characterization and avoidance of defects in hybrid perovskite materials
  • Material use of chaff straw
  • How can artificial intelligence be made more accessible and applicable for SMEs?
  • What role does edge and cloud computing play in the use of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)?
  • Determinants of the successful integration of digital assistance systems/aids into the support networks of older people

This will be followed by a poster session on the funded research topics. The poster brochure can already be downloaded here.

Due to the pandemic conditions, this event will take place digitally. The presentations will be shown on BBB (BigBlueButton), with the opportunity for discussion. The poster session will take place on Gather.town, where each poster can be discussed in a separate "room" with the respective creator.
