The economy, market and politics are becoming more dynamic and complex and predictions are becoming more uncertain. More and more decisions are being made in the face of uncertainty. People have to organize their own actions and those of teams, groups and organizations.
This places increased demands on all graduates, as in addition to "hard skills", i.e. specialist knowledge, "soft skills" or competencies should also be acquired during their studies. Competencies are skills for self-organization, are self-organization dispositions. Self-organization is defined as acting in open problem and decision-making situations, in complex, often chaotic systems.
In addition to knowing "how to do it", mastering challenges also requires a corresponding attitude in order to appear competent. We offer to measure this attitude - personal value pattern or competence level - with the KODE® method. This procedure is not a personality test, but measures the value attitudes in different situations, which can be changed.
As a student at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, you have the opportunity to have your competencies measured free of charge using the KODE® method.
You can register on our career portal for skills development with your university login and apply for your skills assessment.
The career portal as an orientation aid during your studies offers assistance in defining your development goals for your dream job by selecting job families.
The career portal as a digital assistant in skills development offers you individual development plans as well as suitable events for individual skills development.
