Dr. Ulrike Irrgang will focus in particular on the creed, Marian devotion, everyday rituals and sacraments, but will also shed light on the understanding of the church, the role of women and Catholic social teaching. When you visit a Catholic church, you will personally experience the symbols and meanings of sacred spaces.

Basic religious education plays an important role in the successful integration of migrants and refugees. It forms the basis for tolerance, mutual understanding and good coexistence. The series is aimed at interested parties, those involved in intercultural or interreligious work and migrants. The events consist of keynote speeches, encounters, discussions with the speakers and experience-oriented components. You will acquire a basic knowledge of different cultures, denominations, religions and world views and gain authentic insights into different ways of life. In this way, you will learn about the differences and similarities between secular and religious values and be able to relate them to each other.
