Citizens meet science - For a beer with the researcher

With the VHS to the Zittau power plant laboratory

Begin 18. November 2019 - 18:00 Uhr
End 18. November 2019 - 19:30 Uhr

Have you always wanted to know what the scientists at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences are up to?

Look over their shoulders, ask questions in conversation, follow up and find out what difficulties and opportunities there are? What their research brings to our region?

This year, for the first time, we are offering the opportunity to do this in a very small group of participants, directly in the research laboratory. Over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, you will get to know the largest research facility in Upper Lusatia in a vivid and practical way.

In small groups of max. 10 people, you will be able to talk directly to each other, so it is worth booking quickly.

Zittau power plant laboratory

You will experience:

  • large steam-driven plant research, including on increasing the efficiency and flexibility of power plants, the continued use of power plants after the lignite phase-out
