On the evening of May 17, the gates to the high-voltage hall will open for the Great Zittau Reading Night.

The Great Zittau Reading Night will take place on May 17 as part of the Capital of Culture Bid Week. Under the motto: "Zittau reads for the heart", Upper Lusatians will read their favorite books to Upper Lusatians and guests every half hour at special locations.
Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is also taking part in the reading night with its high-voltage hall. Researchers inspire with exciting books from both their own and other authors. The waiting time until the next reading can be used for a leisurely stroll to the next venue.
Visitors can also look forward to the lively effects of a dynamic experiment with high suspense.
