At the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Department of Studies and International Affairs (DSI), a position (40 hours/week) is available at the earliest possible date as a

Examination Office Clerk (m/f/d)

- Reference: 64-2024 DSI PA -

to be filled initially for a limited period until 05.04.2025. In the event that the post holder takes parental leave, a corresponding extension is planned.

The post holder has the following tasks in particular:

  • Informing and advising staff and students on examination law issues,
  • Implementing the examination regulations for selected degree programs with the help of the Campus Management System (e.g. monitoring deadlines, configuring examinations and managing examination results),
  • Preparation of notifications, certificates and final documents,
  • Implementation of examination board decisions,
  • Creating overviews and statistics.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • Completed training related to the above area of responsibility,
  • professional experience, preferably in public administration,
  • basic knowledge of administrative law,
  • comprehensive knowledge of MS Office,
  • service orientation,
  • personal, social and intercultural skills appropriate to the profile of responsibilities.

In addition, the following are desirable

  • Knowledge of university administration and university structures,
  • good knowledge of English,
  • experience with campus management software or similar IT systems.

  • Affinity with digital tools in the administrative area,

If the personal requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 9a TV-L. The 1st place of work is Zittau.
