Coordinator for the introduction of digital hazardous substance management (m/f/d)

to be filled for a limited period of 2 years.

As part of the digitalization strategy, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is revising and optimizing processes and systems, in particular hazardous substance management. Embedded in occupational health and safety management, the university is striving for an optimized and legally compliant process design for the handling of hazardous substances, taking into account existing and further developed processes within the university's management system approaches.

As part of this project, the post holder will have the following tasks

  • Coordinating the "Digital Hazardous Substance Management" implementation project at the university, taking into account and actively involving all relevant stakeholders and processes,
  • the creation of a comprehensive concept for "Digital Hazardous Substance Management"
  • a comprehensive survey of the current situation as well as the user-specific and legal requirements for handling hazardous substances in the faculties and institutes concerned and the associated processes as an integral part of our occupational health and safety management,
  • drawing up a list of services, preparing and supporting the tendering process, selecting and customizing a suitable software solution for the university,
  • Integration into the existing university system at process level,
  • implementation by entering/migrating all relevant data and digitizing all relevant processes,
  • Involving all relevant stakeholders and training users to ensure smooth implementation and handover in day-to-day operations.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • University degree, preferably in a technical or scientific field or in business informatics or economics,
  • Knowledge and experience in the areas of occupational health and safety, hazardous substances and process management

The following are also desirable

  • Experience in software procurement in the public sector (public procurement law),
  • suitable additional qualifications for the area of responsibility (e.g. certificate for occupational safety),
  • a working knowledge of English,
  • Experience in the implementation, coordination and management of (digitization) projects,
  • IT/digitization/software affinity.

If the personal requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 11 TV-L. The 1st place of work is Zittau.
