Engineering, TGA Technical Planning and Building Physics (W2)
- Code: W-600V -

to fill the position of a full-time professor for a period of three years. The position is divisible.

The position includes the representation of the above-mentioned professorship in teaching and research, in particular with the following focal points:

  • Fundamentals of technical building equipment (TGA) and facility management, building physics,
  • building materials and materials technology, sustainability of buildings.

In addition, the position includes the responsible management of the laboratories for building physics, building materials and materials technology and participation in the laboratory for building energy technology as well as the colloquium for diploma students, the supervision of final theses, internships, excursions and student projects.

The teaching duties are to be carried out in lectures, seminars, exercises, practicals, projects and in further education, primarily in the Housing and Real Estate Management degree course, with the prospect of other degree courses and related subject areas.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • a successfully completed academic university degree related to the above-mentioned subject area,
  • a particular aptitude for scientific work,
  • experience in applied research and knowledge transfer,
  • ideally teaching experience in higher education or further education.
  • When filling positions, particular emphasis is placed on practical experience.
