Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG) recently opened its first international office in Görlitz's sister city Zgorzelec. Since November 1, 2018, prospective students and their parents have been able to obtain regular advice on the HSZG's range of courses. The branch office is located in the school building of DPFA EUROPRYMUS Sp. z o. o., a company of the DPFA academy group. The HSZG hopes that this will improve contact with Polish cooperation partners. In addition, the attractive study conditions at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and the opportunities for success after successfully completing a degree should also be made more accessible to Polish applicants.
Mr. Tobias Schlüter, who already has good contacts to Poland via the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and the Academic Coordination Centre in the Neisse Euroregion (ACC), was commissioned to set up the branch office. At the same time, the opening of the international office will create further synergies that will benefit both cooperation with the scientific institutions in the Neisse Euroregion and the economic interests of the region. For example, relations with the Wałbrzych, Jelenia Góra and Wrocław regions can be intensified. SMEs and other social organizations are invited to benefit from this.
There will be an opening ceremony for the branch office on January 25, 2019.
