The job holder has the following tasks in particular:

Supporting the coordination of the network development of the sub-school network "Digital School Saxony" in the region of Eastern Saxony by

• Maintaining contacts with schools, educational institutions and other relevant partners,
• Mediation and maintenance of potential cooperation partners for the schools,
• Planning and coordinating school visits and coordinating network formats with the participating schools.

Event management

• Planning, organization and implementation of network events with the network partners,
• Organization of exchange formats.

Public relations

• Creation of press releases, newsletters and social media content,
• Reporting and documentation of network activities,
• Provision of information texts, graphics for websites and information material.

Administration

• Performing general administrative tasks such as office organization, data maintenance and internal university communication.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Completed university studies related to the above-mentioned area of responsibility,
• Experience in building networks and maintaining cooperations,
• Experience in event management, especially in the planning and implementation of events,
• Knowledge of public relations, including the creation of press releases and social media content.

In addition, the following are desirable

• Knowledge of the research region and regional structural change,
• Experience in working with ministries, knowledge of political circumstances and dealing with administrative structures,
• Knowledge of project management,
• Experience in the use and design of effective public media.
