The year 2024 is only a few days away! Time to review the most important events at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
In his Christmas greetings , the Rector, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Kratzsch, addresses students, employees, professors and all members and partners of the university. He talks about the highlights, challenges and developments of 2024, taking a look at the progress the HSZG has made this year.
From the signing of the cooperation agreement for the "Green Circular Economy" research campus to the introduction of the new Sustainable Business Administration degree course and the inauguration of the Mobile Learning Center - in 2024, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences once again impressively demonstrated how it is driving innovation, sustainability and interdisciplinary collaboration. The commitment to equal opportunities and diversity, visible for example in the Equal Opportunities Week or the first certification as a family-friendly university, also reflects the broad self-image of the HSZG and the commitment of its employees.
For Rector Kratzsch, the success of the university is particularly due to the strong cohesion within the university community and the cooperation with external partners. 2024 was characterized by a lively cooperation - be it at the university's numerous trade fair appearances, events such as the university information day and the matriculation ceremony or Taiwan Day. The university's commitment to the University for Future process was successfully continued. This has resulted in many creative ideas and initiatives for the sustainable further development of the HSZG.
The coming year will also be full of challenges and opportunities. With projects such as the Green Classroom, the further development of the new research campus and the introduction of innovative study programs, the HSCG will consistently continue on its path of transformation.
On behalf of the Rectorate, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Kratzsch wishes all students, employees and partners of the university a Merry Christmas, relaxing holidays and a good start to 2025.
