From Zittau to the world in 4 semesters

You start your 1st semester in Zittau and Liberec (Czech Republic). Both cities can be reached quickly and directly by train in 30 minutes. In the 3rd semester, you will study at a renowned partner university in Europe - be it in Spain, Latvia, Greece, Poland, Austria or another country of your choice. You will help shape the in-depth content and language skills here.

The 4th semester in Zittau includes an additional one-week stay at another partner university. A special highlight is the Business Simulation Game, which gives you a practical insight into complex business decisions.

Internship and academic work

The compulsory internship in the 5th semester gives you the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge directly in practice - even abroad if you wish. You complete your studies in the 6th semester with your Bachelor's thesis, which can also be written in conjunction with a company. This is practice- and solution-oriented thinking and enables the best business contacts.

The course content combines sound business fundamentals with international and interdisciplinary aspects. You will take courses such as International Business Negotiation, Sustainable Project Management and Global Marketing. In addition, there are language courses in Business English and optionally Spanish, German (for foreigners) or Czech.

  • What NC do I need to study European Business?

    You do not need a numerus clausus (NC) to study European Business.

    Bachelor of Arts - Double Degree: Two degrees, one global perspective

    The Bachelor of Arts - Double Degree is a particularly attractive study model that offers you the opportunity to obtain two Bachelor's degrees within six semesters by attending two partner universities in different countries.   • What language skills are required?

    As the course is taught entirely in English, you will need at least B2 level English. You have this level if you have at least 10 points or a grade of "good" (equivalent to GPA grade B-) in English lessons at school.
