For this year, we invite all those interested in technical education to the 15th Annual Engineering Education Online Conference from Thursday, June 17, 2021, 1 p.m. to Saturday, June 19, 2021.
The organizing committee of the Ingenieurpädagogische Wissenschaftsgesellschaft and our university would like to reflect and discuss with you the triad of human-technology-production and service structures as a reference for future-oriented, sustainable educational processes.
The underlying questions are how sustainable concepts of technical education can emerge from tradition and innovation so that teachers and learners can help shape the future responsibly for themselves and others.
You are cordially invited to submit a contribution on this topic.
In continuation of the focal points and discussions of previous annual conferences, contributions on the following topics are also welcome: Fundamental issues in engineering education, What makes good teaching?, Ethical issues in technical education, Vocational education, Women in technical careers, Best practice examples of innovative concepts in teaching and learning, Goals of the UN's Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 and UNESCO's 2030 Education Agenda and their contribution to technical education, and Miscellaneous.
We invite you to participate with current research or teaching contributions, reports and practical examples. The contributions will be published in the 2021 conference proceedings after the online annual conference.
