The Saxon Film Academy invites you to an entertaining chat about the path to film and Görlitz as a film city and far beyond at Konsulplatz 1 in Görlitz. On Friday, 15 March between 4 and 8 pm, you can experience pure film flair with snacks and drinks and an exciting program .
This open day offers a very special opportunity for all interested parties to get to know the Saxon Film Academy in Görlitz with its unique concept for training and further education for film professions, and to find out about the courses and seminars that will be starting shortly on site.
For example, about the "Film Production Assistance" course starting on April 15, 2024 or a new series of weekend seminars on the profession of film equipment & Set Design, which starts on April 6, 2024. The "Taster Weekend Seminars" on the topics of "Dramaturgy" and "Camera & Lighting" also offer interesting knowledge and hands-on tools for anyone who is really interested in the film industry and will whet your appetite for more.
A special highlight is a discussion round with six lecturers from the SFAlecturers from Berlin, Leipzig and Potsdam, who will talk about their film professions and present their seminars at the SFA in Görlitz.
The end of the information day will also be exciting with a screening of film works by SFA students.
