In the run-up to the University Information Day at the HSZG in January, presenter Victoria Hohlfeld spoke to alumni of the university about why studying at the HSZG is worthwhile.
Today, Maria and Philipp Israel talk about their experiences of studying and living at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
Maria studied Culture and Management and Philipp Business Administration at the HSZG. They met during their studies, got married, had a child together and now work in the same company. A dream story in other words. In the talk, you will learn, among other things, that opposites often do attract, as Maria went abroad after graduating from high school, while Philipp remained loyal to Upper Lusatia!
The question is also answered as to whether there comes a time in your professional life when you realize what you've learned all those things for during your studies or whether the cliché "I'll never need that again later anyway!" proves to be true. A little spoiler at this point: Both are still happy to have chosen the HSZG a few years ago and were ultimately able to pave a good career path for themselves in the region as a result.
