Film art in conversation: a "Terence Malick evening" at the Palast Theater Görlitz

In cooperation with the Saxon Film Academy Görlitz, the Palast-Theater in Görlitz is showing a special arthouse film evening.

The Palast-Theater in Görlitz wants to be more than just a cinema and, in cooperation with the Saxon Film Academy Görlitz and X-Filme, is looking forward to a very special arthouse film evening on Tue. 26.04.2022, 19:00, in the Palast-Theater, in the historic Hall 1.

Producer Marcus Loges will introduce the very remarkable, visually outstanding drama "A Hidden Life" by Terence Malick and will be available for a discussion afterwards. The film was partly shot in Upper Lusatia and also impresses with its outstanding cast.

Marcus Loges has been working as a freelance production manager, production manager and later as a line producer and producer for various German and international TV and feature film productions since the mid-1990s. Since January 2020, he has been one of the managing directors of X Filme Holding GmbH with a special focus on productions.

The Saxon Film Academy started the first course in Görlitz on 21.03.2022. Funded by the Free State of Saxony and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences as the responsible educational institution, the Saxon Film Academy was launched with great emphasis and enthusiasm from politics and the film industry. Its task and goal is to train specialists for the middle management of film production, for which there is a great need in the region, but also throughout Germany. Bernd Hölsken will represent the Saxon Film Academy on the evening. He has already worked on film productions in many different areas.
