Workshop "Future skills for the semiconductor industry: designing the skills profile of tomorrow's graduates"

The Vice-Rector for Education and International Affairs at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Professor Sophia Keil, is inviting companies from the semiconductor industry to the Zittau campus on Tuesday, 26.11.2024, in order to jointly identify the specific requirements and needs of the industry with regard to the skills profiles of tomorrow's graduates in a workshop.

The workshop will focus on practice-oriented discussions and exchanges between university representatives and industry experts. Through keynote speeches and interactive sessions, the expectations and needs of companies with regard to the necessary specialist, interdisciplinary and practical skills of future graduates will be identified. These results will play a key role in the new courses currently being developed at the university in order to ensure a practical and future-oriented education.

With the participation of experienced speakers from science and industry, the workshop offers a valuable platform for the transfer of knowledge and the strengthening of cooperation between university and industry.

We cordially invite all interested companies in the semiconductor industry to take part in this important discussion and contribute their expertise. Together we will shape the future of education for the semiconductor industry!
