Discovering new energies for Saxony: this is the motto of the Saxon Energy Days , which will be held from April 5 to 26 and will focus on renewable energies, climate protection and innovative solutions for a sustainable future. On April 9 and 10, you will also have the opportunity to find out more and take a look behind the scenes of research and application in Zittau. The events are aimed at students and those who want to become students, as well as citizens of all ages who are interested in the energy system.
On April 9, TRIXI Bad, in cooperation with the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and the Saxony5 transfer staff, will provide an insight into the swimming pool's current and planned energy supply. From 9:00 to 15:00, guided tours of the otherwise hidden supply technology will be offered every hour. The event is free of charge, registration is requested.
In the TRIXI-Bad Großschönau, a lot of energy is needed so that guests can slide down the slides, swim their lengths, romp in the water, relax in the whirlpool, sweat in the steam chamber, float in the brine pool and catch their breath in the graduation house. You can find out how the pools are heated and supplied with hot water and how this is to be done even more sustainably in future on guided tours of the supply technology.

The opening event of the Saxon Energy Days will take place on April 5, 2025 in Chemnitz. Solutions and plans for the energy transition will be presented in an open trade fair format. Minister of State Dirk Panter and Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will open the event. The employees of the Saxony5 transfer project will also be on site and look forward to your visit!
The event will take place from 10:00 to 16:00 on the premises of inetz GmbH (Heizkraftwerk Nord, Blankenburgstraße 2) in Chemnitz.
