Begin 22. January 2021 - Ganztägig

Permanent exhibition from January 22, 2021

Perhaps you have more in common with your counterpart than you might think at first glance? "Mensch, Görlitz! revisited" is a traveling exhibition on the topic of social participation and social interaction in Görlitz. In the exhibition, Görlitz residents give an insight into their personal perceptions, wishes, ideas, fears and barriers to spending time with neighbors, friends or making new acquaintances.

The aim of the project is to focus on the social and cultural participation of Görlitz citizens in the form of an exhibition and to show that the leisure activities of all Görlitz citizens can be just as colorful and varied as people can be different and diverse. At the same time, the exhibition also aims to encourage people to approach other people without prejudice and to recognize similarities in order to enable a new kind of togetherness.

The "Mensch, Görlitz! revisited" project is part of the Project Management and Organizational Development module. The cooperative project takes place between students on the social work course at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, the Lebensschule Görlitz AWW e.V., the Görlitz volunteer agency and the SG Integration of the district of Görlitz. This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the members of the Saxon state parliament.
