The "25th Conference on Renewable Resources - Biomass to Power and Heat" planned for June 2020 at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences unfortunately has to be canceled due to the current nationwide situation. It is intended to hold the conference in 2021 instead. With regard to the conference for young scientists, a modified form with subsequent publication of conference proceedings is planned for the original date. We are currently discussing this with the speakers and the program committee.

The conference "Biomass to Power and Heat" is dedicated in particular to the following topics

Energetic use of natural solid biomass in the application area between individual room supply and communal supply - technology, economy, ecology

A demand-oriented energy supply is a prerequisite for any economic system. In addition, the energy supply must be environmentally friendly and economical. The modernization of our energy supply system also aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while at the same time reducing the consumption of fossil resources. In this context, bioenergy will play an important role in the future energy supply due to its wide range of applications, its fundamental climate friendliness and, above all, its good storage capacity.
