Science is exciting and often an adventure. Research institutions in Görlitz and Zittau will share this with you on July 1 when the motto is "OHA! Science Adventure". From late afternoon until late at night, the institutes will open their doors with a varied program about their research.

Discover how answers to exciting questions for the future are being found in our region and talk directly to the researchers. Demonstrations, experiments, guided tours and talks shed light on the many different aspects of regional research and give you a real look behind the scenes. But you don't just listen and watch, you can also become part of the adventure yourself with numerous hands-on activities.

THIRST FOR KNOWLEDGE AND A RUMBLING STOMACH!

From 4 to 8 p.m., you can quench your thirst for knowledge at many different stations. Your growling stomach will be well catered for on the HSZG campus! From 8 p.m., we will also invite you to our central evening events in Zittau and Görlitz.

Then you can rest your legs, but not your head. We invite you once again to discover the beauties of science with us. If the weather is kind to us, we will enjoy a cool drink and listen to the courageous researchers who will give us an entertaining 10-minute introduction to a topic close to their hearts in a science slam.
We don't want to deprive you of the joy of complicated engineering processes such as heating water in large pots or the famous discovery of a tapeworm in our region!

The science slam lectures in Zittau will be embedded in exciting puzzle rounds in which not only a clever mind but also curious knowledge will help you to win. In Görlitz there will be an experiment show to marvel at.
