With a degree in Green Engineering, you will be well prepared for a career in sustainable development and environmental technologies. By combining process engineering (40%), mechanical engineering (40%) and environmental engineering (20%), you will learn everything that is necessary for a successful circular economy. In order to develop a holistic approach to the life cycle of products and the associated processes, you will deal with central methods in the technical field as well as with current trends.
You can also complete the Bachelor's degree in Green Engineering as part of the KIA direct study program.

In this professional field, you will analyze and optimize the entire life cycle of products, from design to production to disposal, in order to minimize ecological impact and support the circular economy.

For the Green Engineering course, you need a general higher education entrance qualification, the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants with a qualification as a technician, business economist, master craftsman or similar. Applicants who have completed advanced vocational training in accordance with §18(3) of the SächsHSFG must attend a counseling interview for general university admission.
