The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences (F-S), is looking to fill a part-time position (20 hours/week) as part of a project funded by the federal and state governments entitled "Developing, promoting and utilizing potential - attracting professorial staff through internal and external cooperation" as soon as possible.

Research Project Assistant (m/f/d) - Keyword: ProKoop/F-S: Social Sciences -

limited until 31.12.2028. As part of the project, there is the possibility of a cooperative doctorate.

The program to promote the recruitment and development of professorial staff at universities of applied sciences supports universities of applied sciences in the introduction and expansion of structurally effective instruments for recruiting academic excellence, increases their visibility and attractiveness as employers and increases equal opportunities, diversity and work-life balance.

As part of the project, the job holder (m/f/d) will be responsible for the following tasks in particular:

Supporting the faculty management, in particular
- Strategic development of teaching and research priorities,
- Development of administrative processes and faculty-specific monitoring,
- Collaboration in the revision of the courses offered on the BA degree programs in Social Work, Curative Education/Inclusion Studies, Childhood Education, in particular with the aim of interlinking the BA degree programs, and
- Collaboration in the re-accreditation of the degree programs.

Safeguarding teaching in seminars, tutorials and internships
- especially in the basics of social sciences (e.g. educational science, educational science, social science, psychology, research methods and legal basics of SGB VIII),
- with a focus on counseling/conversation and
- Supervision of projects and practical phases.

The following knowledge and skills are required

a successfully completed academic university degree (univ. Master's, Magister, Diplom or accredited Master's degree from a university of applied sciences) in the field of social sciences, in particular in specializations such as childhood education, special education, communication psychology or social work) as well as
Experience in university teaching or adult education.

The following are also desirable

Willingness to do a doctorate as part of the project,
Further education and/or training in the field of didactics and psychosocial counseling,
knowledge of university-related structures and processes as well as experience in the areas of networking, committee and public relations work and
social, intercultural and communication skills.
