How a woman from Hamburg turns on the lights in "the Matrix"!

The new Assistant Camera course & Light of the Saxon Film Academy has just started. A diverse group of course participants from Leipzig, Dresden, Halle, Görlitz and Lübeck will spend six weeks learning how to use professional lighting and camera equipment in an intensive and very practical way. Strange terms such as Black Promist, Easyrig, Teradek Bolt, Sound Devices, Zeiss Compact Prime, HMI Arri M18, Skypanel, Arri Alexa and many more will soon be used as a matter of course and you will be able to operate and use the corresponding equipment.

Public workshop talks on film

Many renowned lecturers from the film industry will be traveling to the Film Academy in Görlitz over the next few weeks, bringing with them years of film experience and just as much enthusiasm for film work. Special film evenings will be held with some of them in the Film Academy studio, where they will talk about their exciting film work on the basis of a selected film. The event will be hosted by Bernd Hölsken.
