Substitute Professorship "Diversity and Social Inequality in Social Work" - Reference: SW-114V/W2 (m/f/d)

The position includes the representation of the above-mentioned professorship in teaching and research, in particular with the following focal points:

• Diversity/intersectionality,
• Fundamentals of social work, in particular gender-sensitive social work,
• Methods of social work and
• Organizations of social work.

The position holder (m/f/d) is expected to implement the above-mentioned focal points in an advisory capacity in professional practice as well as in lectures, seminars, exercises, internships and projects or in continuing education. If necessary, courses in areas related to the field of appointment must be taken on.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• A relevant, academic university degree related to the above-mentioned subject area,
• a proven pedagogical aptitude in teaching or training,
• special aptitude for academic work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate,
• Experience in applied research and knowledge transfer,
• teaching experience in the university/university sector and
• at least a good command of English.
