to be filled for a limited period until 31.12.2027. The position is divisible.

The UAS personnel program to promote the recruitment and development of professorial staff at universities of applied sciences supports the universities of applied sciences in the introduction and expansion of structurally effective instruments for the recruitment of academic excellence. These instruments are developed in sub-projects with the active participation of the faculties of the HSCG and are brought together by the overarching project structure in line with the central strategic objectives of the HSCG.

An important aspect here is networking with various players within and outside the university as well as identifying and utilizing possible synergies in these networks.

The position includes the following tasks:

  • Analyzing existing networks of the HSZG and identifying potential synergies for the implementation of project measures and objectives,
  • Developing and implementing a strategy for managing and documenting all existing networks at the university,
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding relationships with academic and industrial partners, research institutions and other relevant stakeholders, but also with relevant departments within the HSZG,
  • Organizing and coordinating network meetings, workshops, project meetings and other events - possibly combined with business trips,
  • Promoting the exchange of information between the various players in the network,
  • Supporting the development and implementation of network strategies and plans,
  • Documentation of network activities and preparation of reports for the project,
  • Establishing and expanding networking and cooperation platforms for junior professors, e.g. dual-career and talent pool,
  • Supporting the university's public relations work and communication,
  • Communication of project measures and project content within the university.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • Completed studies related to the above-mentioned area of responsibility,
  • Experience in networking, ideally in the university environment or in the region,
  • Ability to work strategically and conceptually,
  • business fluent in English,
  • Willingness to participate in business trips,
  • a high affinity for digital media, platforms and IT software,
  • very good written and oral communication skills.

The following are also desirable

  • Knowledge and experience in the working methods and cooperation of scientific institutions and the economic and research region of Lusatia,
  • Knowledge of Czech and/or Polish is an advantage.

If the personal requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 11 TV-L. The 1st place of work is Zittau.
