A new overview guide available for support: Digitalization as an opportunity for teaching and learning at the HSCG.
Due to the current developments regarding the spread of the coronavirus, there is no face-to-face teaching. The HSZG has responded with innovative concepts to move teaching into the digital space. Teaching in the form of online courses is provided individually by the lecturers of the individual faculties. In addition, the Center for eLearning (Zfe), the Center for Knowledge Transfer and Education (ZWB) and the Education Unit (RB) support teachers and students with offers, guidelines and advice on online courses.
Many successful HSZG projects and best-practice examples of selected online tools show how teaching and learning can work successfully in the digital space. To make it easier to get started in the digital space and to provide an overview of the large number of tools and methods, a guide has been developed by the staff involved. The offers described therein can be supported and supervised by the Center for eLearning (Zfe). These offers are constantly checked for their usability in teaching and their data protection compliance and can therefore be seen as an alternative to classroom teaching.
All those involved are working hard to provide information, tools and support services, to demonstrate alternatives to classroom teaching and to provide the best possible support for lecturers.
Furthermore, a moderated online conference "... and suddenly my teaching has to take place digitally?" on Wednesday, April 1st from 3 pm, in which lecturers and employees of the above-mentioned centers can exchange experiences and challenges with digitally-supported teaching. The access data will be sent to the lecturers by e-mail.
