More time for the essentials

What does preliminary research actually do at the HSZG? A new video series provides insights. We start with how robots can improve job satisfaction.

Collaborative robots, alcohol in the blood, healing plants: A wide range of preliminary research is carried out at the HSZG.

A new video series now shows exactly what our scientists are doing. Five times we provide insights into exciting projects of our application-oriented research. These research projects are made possible with funding from the Saxon state parliament.

Christian Vogel from the Institute of Process Engineering, Process Automation and Metrology (IPM) kicks things off with the "COBOT" project. His focus is on collaborative robots.

More time for the essentials thanks to robots

Robots will increasingly support people in industry and trade, freeing up more time for essential tasks. This will relieve humans of monotonous, physically demanding or dangerous tasks. In this way, productivity can be increased and quality guaranteed. This in turn ensures greater job satisfaction.

With a focus on two exciting research topics, Christian Vogel is developing individual solutions for companies in the "COBOT" project. Roll the movie!
