HSZG used the Airstream trailer for the first time at KONVENTA 2025 in Löbau.
On April 26 and 27, 2025, KONVENTA opened its doors at Messepark Löbau and attracted numerous visitors with a diverse range of products and services. Among them: the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG), which scored with a special highlight.
At the center of the presentation was the university's mobile learning facility - an elaborately converted Airstream trailer that served as a rolling laboratory to bring modern technology to life. Equipped with a laser cutter and a 3D printer, the younger visitors in particular were able to get creative: They designed and made their own key rings, which they proudly took home with them.
But it wasn't just technology fans who got their money's worth: the HSZG team was also on hand to offer advice on all aspects of studying and careers. Many took the opportunity to find out about study options and job vacancies at the university and make their first personal contacts.
The mobile learning space is part of the ZUKLOS project, with which the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is bringing innovative educational opportunities directly to the region. The aim of the strategic initiative "Future Learning Location Upper Lusatia" (ZukLOS) is to create diverse and innovative teaching and learning spaces in the extracurricular STEM sector. With its mobile laboratory, the HSZG aims to awaken enthusiasm for technology, share knowledge and get young people excited about science. Lots of hands-on technology, exciting discussions and plenty of smiling faces - that's how KONVENTA 2025 will be remembered by everyone involved.
