The network of tomorrow's engineers.
On October 16, 2019, Lucas Wünsche, Sven Kaminsky and Marcus Wöckel founded the VDE University Group Zittau. VDE stands for Verband der Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik e.V.
By actively promoting the VDE at the first event format "Dialogue with the engineers of tomorrow" at the end of October 2019, the group has grown from three founding members to eleven active members. The aim of the VDE network is to support prospective electrical engineers individually in their professional and personal growth.
We are therefore delighted about the active support from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the HSZG and would like to thank Franziska Roos (Head of VDE Youngnet), Alexandra Lamprecht (JMA spokesperson) and Christoph Windisch (HSG Dresden) for their help in founding the group. In order to set up the university group as sustainably as possible at the Zittau location, the HSG cooperates very closely with the Electrical Engineering Student Council and thus tries to inspire students from different years to join the VDE network.
The VDE University Group Zittau is a member of the German Electrical Engineering Association. We are the network for the electrical engineers of tomorrow. As part of our activities in Zittau:
